Lovelady Lovefest – 2nd Weekend in Lovelady Community Park in Lovelady. This annual event around Valentine’s Day has fun for the whole family. There is a parade in the morning and cook-offs going on throughout the day. You’ll find activities for the kids, festival food, live entertainment, arts and crafts booths and more. Mission Tejas Easter Sunrise Services – Come celebrate Easter with friends and family at Mission Tejas State Park. Mission Tejas will hold an Easter Sunrise Service. The Service will begin at 6:45 a.m. Coffee, donuts, muffins, and hot chocolate will be served. Entry to the Park for the Sunrise Service is free. Piney Woods Fine Arts Association Summer Lightnin’ Series – The Piney Woods Fine Arts present this series of free concerts every Thursday in June at J.B. & Kathryn Sallas Amphitheatre at Arnold Park, Crockett. These shows have something for everyone from blues musicians and rockabilly to Tex-Mex rock-n-roll. Juneteenth Parade – On the Square in Downtown at 10:00 a.m., followed by official ceremony and introduction of Miss Juneteenth Queens and their courts.
4th of July Parade – On the Square in Downtown Crockett at 10:00 a.m. Sponsored by the Crockett Downtown Beautification Committee. Festivities during parade include homemade ice cream & fruit pie competition, and concession stand with hotdogs and cold drinks.
Annual 4th of July Boat Parade and Fireworks Display at Houston County Lake – Decorated boat parade. Everyone who has anything that floats can enter, from a canoe to a boat. Prizes from “Most Original through “Best of Show”. $5 entry fee. Large fireworks display with great viewing from your boat or on the shoreline. Coca-Cola Fireworks Display – Crockett Coca Cola hosts the annual ”Fireworks Over Crockett” fireworks display in the field in front of the Crockett Civic Center located on Edmiston Drive in Crockett. Patriotic music will be played both prior to and during the event, so bring your lawn chair or sit on your tailgate and enjoy as Coca-Cola lights up the sky!

World Championship Fiddlers Festival of Crockett, Texas – 4th Weekend in October at Davy Crockett Memorial Park in Crockett. Over 75 years of Fiddlers Festival tradition returns to its roots as an outdoor fiddling festival on Saturday under the pavilion at Davy Crockett Memorial Park. Crockett Area Chamber of Commerce’s largest and most exciting event is the Annual Christmas in Crockett Arts and Crafts Festival which is held the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Christmas in Crockett draws a very large crowd of locals and tourists who return year after year for this fun filled family event.
